the sound effects were great too.Īnyway, I give it all 10! It was great~ Worth watching~ ^-^ Music, I love the music and background music. But they did their job well too :D Sano is not really tall, but with his big muscles I guess that's enough. Kaoru and Megumi wasn't able to absorb the 100% characteristic in the anime. Although kaoru and Megumi are cute unlike in anime which are matured. Same as the same characters, the expressions are totally right. The way he express is just right, love it. Maybe because I already know the story that's why I wasn't totally moved.Ībout actors~ Ohhhhhhhhh!! They are so great! I salute them! They really done a great job especially kenshin!!!! He is so cool, handsome and cute!!! Love him x) I guess they just give emphasize to the important ones. Even though I was little sad that there are scenes that I like that wasn't included. I can say that this is really worth watching for. But it is understandable since there are no cars yet that time. It's funny though that the cops back then are always too late in the scenes.
You can feel the presence of the past era (which I forgot what it is) to the modern. The lighting they have used is well chosen and the places too. How each scenes were directed was perfect or in detailed. Which I will no longer mention what are the changes are to avoid spoiling the others. Rewatch Value 10 About the story, from the anime series, the plot was changed. In other words a movie worth seeking out. Even if you do not have any knowledge of the source material (as I had) it stands on its own and thus can be enjoyed by anyone who loves a good action movie starring samurai. When it comes to Japanese cinema I have to admit that my experience with them does not extend far beyond Studio Ghibli and Takeshi Kitano movies. Comic book adaptations have not always made good movies, but here the transition has turned into something worth watching.
Initially you might think that Takeru Satoh does not look like right for his role (he does have some feminine features which kind of reminded me of Michael Jackson), but if you see the manga the fit is perfect. Visually the film is pleasing to the eye and the cast seems to fit the roles. Swordfights can become difficult to follow, but here this is not the case, even when Himurau is fighting a big group of armed men. The movie contains a lot of sword fights and the choreography of them is a joy to look at. This tale of revenge, power and honour was entertaining throughout. Samurai X has to prove his innocence and protect the ones he cares for. When a group of thugs tries to get their hands on the dojo it is Himurau who makes sure to stop them. Himurau Kenshin meets a woman who tries to run the dojo her father left her, with little success. Not everyone is convinced though as a cruel businessman (an enjoyable scene chewing role by Teruyuki Kagawa) is trying to expand his power and wealth selling opium.
When a murder takes place the police find a letter, claiming the murder is performed by this samurai, also known as Battosai. He even carries a sword where the sharp edge is on the inside, not being able to hurt others with it. It tells the story of a samurai named Himura Kenshin (Takeru Satoh), who after the start of a new age in Japanese history decides to no longer kill and protect those in trouble.
Rurouni Kenshin might not be known to everyone, but it is a Japanese manga series (also known as Samurai X).
